Filter Bubbles?

Search engine optimization has just gotten more complex.  “Filter bubbles” now make it so that Google results and other site search results have become more personalized, and less consistent across the web. (And that’s not all.) See this astonishing video:

      Well, there’s nothing wrong with being targeted for advertising. In fact, if I must see ads, I’d rather see those that I might actually find interesting. But if we want to approach the web as a vast library of information that can expand our understanding of the world, we may have to diversify our searching avenues.
